I traded my Kiltec PF9 for a Mark ll Target a few days ago. I was warned by the LGS salesman that the gun was very difficult to disassemble and that I should bring it back to him to clean at $40.00 every 6 mo, and that he could obtain fiber optic sights for about $100.00 (plus installation cost I would guess). I got on line and found many youtube presentations covering disassembly/reassembly, cleaning, and lubing. And I found fiber optic sights for under $60.00 at Amazon. Sight installation was east, needing only 2 small, properly sized screw drivers. I found the gun, although looking new on the outside, must have never been cleaned. Disassembly was difficult, just like a new gun would have been. I used a rubber mallet to remove the barrel. Then I used Burchwood Gun Scrubber, an old tooth brush, and compressed air for a thorough cleaning. I only disassembled the basic components. After lubing all metal to metal components with a good gun oil and cleaning the barrel, the inside of the gun looks like new also. Reassembly was a little tricky, partly due to everything being so tight, but sitting at the computer and following each setp in one of the youtube presentations, everything is back together. Then it was off to the range to fire 60 rounds and fine tune the new sights. Happy camper.
