Shoot Metlhed57, If you picked up an Old Army and a Red Label (oh yes I forgot the Gold Label as well) You'd have the entire Ruger catalog in your safe. Smithy.

hmmm.... and where might one do such a thing, without breaking the bank? (i've been calling around out here at regular stores and pawns and i can't find a red label for love nor money. IF/WHEN i do, price will be a deciding factor)

I feel your pain. They're scarce as heck in our area and when you do find one, it won't come cheap. I think a lot of Red Label owners have decided to hang on to their Red Labels with a passion, now that they have been discontinued.

tell me about it. i had a dream last night, i think because of jim's pics, about getting two red labels. they were equally beautiful in the dream.
