Hey everyone!!

Excited to say I will have a new SR9C in my hand finally tomorrow after ordering it on the 7th.

I have been enjoying roaming around the forum and decided now would be the time to say hi to you all.

Gotta ask as this is my first handgun, should the gun be cleaned first or could I put 50 threw it then give it a cleaning?

Thanks all!

Welcome from Australia mate.
Glad to have you on board, nice folk here and lots of good info.
Clean it first, there could be factory debris still in the gun that could damage it.
Enjoy your SR9c.

Welcome to the forum - from West Virginia

I would at least clean the barrel and chamber of any excess oil or lubricant.

I would clean it first. Factories often put too much lube during shipping plus it's a good habit to get into.

Welcome aboard.
