Sounds like a really fun day. Nothing better than shooting with one of the family. I think it is pretty typical that light bullets shoot low. At least in handguns anyway. The theory is that lighter bullets usually exit the barrel quicker and the gun doesn't rise quite as high from recoil before the bullet exits. (Someone who really knows what they are talking about may be able to provide a better answer.)

I was really talking about why your 7mm loads were shooting lower than the factory ones. Can you order the Trijicon sights by height, or are they the same as factory. It sounds like the factory front is too high.
