I got a Colt Special Combat Government 45ACP (Hard Chrome). I've been wanting one for a long time. I traded my NIB Colt S70 Satin Nickel Government Model for it but instead of having a gun I would never shoot, I now have one that I will shoot a lot.

David the Gnome, have you given any thought to the PT1911? I really love mine and it's been flawless with whatever I run through it. The prices keep creeping up but I hope they don't get up too high before the stainless comes out.

That is one beautiful gun. I had a Combat Commander back in the '90s...why I ever parted with it, I'll never know.
