OK,... Let hear your Opinion after reading this...

I put this Thread here because there is a Range test...

I think there should be a TOPIC Thread in this Forum for this
type of technical Stuff, so us Gunner's can talk over this type INFO...

Gunner's,... What would we Name such a TOPIC Tread to handle various Types of informative Info like this...??? Please Make some suggestions for the Moderator's OK...<:))

Thanks, SgtKnuckles! I suspected the ammo must be oil-exposed for a looong time in order to damage the primer. That's a good proof. ;)

Interesting test...but having known personally an officer who snapped six times and his shells and gun had been sprayed with WD40-I will never use it on my guns and will always insure that oil and solvent aren't on my shells....this test is kinda like telling me "Would Drano let you hurt your pipes?"...answer being yes...a bit more than preference involved...

Hats off to ya, SgtKnuckles! I really enjoyed reading this thread and seeing the results that were achieved. I fully expected to see some of them fail to fire after a few weeks. I guess the seals are really tight and kept all of the lubricants out of each and every round...

As a suggestion for a name for such a Topic group:

Happenstance, or
Just Pondering, or
Stuff & Such

Thanks again for the intriguing post! :D
