This has been
my first ever rifle build
based off the TTI TR-1
seen in John Wick 2

I think the result
is either very cool
or very lame,
depending on your
perspective

This is the video of the build

I like it. I'm not a fan of tacticool firearms, but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate a [email protected]$$ looking rifle. And I did enjoy the John Wick movies quite a bit. (Though I still think Keanu Reeves can't act his way out of a paper sack.)

Very scary mask, by the way! o_O
I like it too and will give credit when credit is do. You have a good looking rig there. Video put together well. I always like the wood and basic mods for myself but love to see others work. Very cool not lame. If it is your project it's your build. So enjoy it. I love shooting these things and you did well. How does it shoot for you? Get out and shoot the snot out of it. Enjoy!

It was a lot of fun
to put together and
learn how guns work.

Not sure about
the functionality
but it looks very cool.

Keanu's pretty stoic
but he shoots OK. :D

[I actually dislike
Taran Tactical
more than I do him]

The mask is old,
just laying around,
but I didn't feel
like showing my face.

Nice avatar, btw.

I actually did my
senior seminar on
Gonzo Journalism
back in 2005.

Thanks for the appreciation!

Bought it a week before
they locked down my state,
so still not a single shot fired:
I hope to get the chance
in the coming month.

The primary reason
for the modifications
is actually due to my wife
who is 5'1" and 85lbs:
even fully collapsed,
it's plenty long for her.

I wanted something
we can shoot together,
like we do our
Walther P22Q.

I figured, as long as I'm
playing with the frame,
why not add on a few
whistles and bells, too?

I appreciate the love,
hlg and Rick!

Keeping the wife around the shooting world is smart! Kudos! Enjoy the forum, you found a good place to share and learn. These members are very good here. Always safety first!
Very nice build, I like it! Also welcome to the forum!
Outstanding! I like a guy with vision, nothing better than making it what you like/need. Enjoy shooting it.
Not a fan that you have to strip down the entire rifle just to clean it.

Not a fan that they called it an "Assault rifle style". Why do people assume a plastic rifle is just randomly assault somebody/thing.

If going for the "AR" look, i personally would go with the Midwest Industry chassis. Then you can use a AR stock, buffer tube and grip. The optic still mounts to a rail attached to the receiver instead of a contraption that needs to be removed for cleaning.

Some are not concerned with loosing their optic settings though.
