I have had several "fail to return to battery" when using 200gr. LSW. This condition persisted until cleaned and returned after 100 rounds or so. The weapon was able to drop the hammer, out of battery, but not fire :(. A nudge on the slide returns the weapon to battery, but when dirty, it would reappear often. Has anyone had similar problems with the P345 and lead bullets and what is the cure? Thanks, DAY

"Iowegan" Thank You for your kind response. I did smooth the mating surfaces as you suggested and will try less oil as you indicated but giving up 200gr. LSWC loads is to ask me to depart with my Dr. Pepper. They are one of the most likely to feed and function in the 1911 than anything except ball ammo. Although the 230gr. load that you described would be a great performer, I have learned to appreciate the 200gr. LSWC for its economical nature, mild manners and accuracy over the years. I am not trying to detract from your good advice but mildly object on the history this load has brought. I will depart from it if no other option exists. Thanks, DAY
