Finally got a chance to shoot some of the +P Winchester Ranger-Ts in my P345. Recoil is a bit snappy for a .45, but not enough to slow the follow up shots.

While it was the least windy day at the range since fall, the wind was still enough to move me and the targets. Vertical spread was less than an inch, but the horizontal was 2 - 2 1/2" off an improvised rest. They shoot to the same POI as the standard velocity 230gr loads.

While I like the Ranger-T in the standard velocity loading, the extra recoil is slight enough that I am switching to these +Ps.

Yeah, come on folks. I know a bunch of people shoot the P345, so post your range reports with the ammo you are using.

It's cheaper than each of us individually testing every weight, style and brand of ammo! While no ammo performs the same in different pistols, it is still helpful in knowing which rounds might have potential in ours.

I have never seen any winchester Ranger-T ammo around here. But I sure want to try some.
