Hello all. New to the forum. I need replacement mags for my P87. It’s been jamming on a regular basis and I’m suspecting it’s due to weakened springs in the mags. All I’ve been able to find is P-Series mags for P89 and up. I’ve talked to Ruger and got conflicting information. One rep told me the P-Series wouldn’t be compatible and another rep said it would.
Can anyone confirm whether or not these mags will work with my P87?

thanks in advance

Yeah, I feel like an idiot. Funny thing is, the 2 reps I spoke with at Ruger didn’t even catch that.
Don't sweat it my friend ... sometimes it's a typo and sometimes not ...

P Series rule glocks drool ... is my motto ...

If you have original factory magazines, don't throw them away. Wolff, and maybe others, sell magazine springs.

Original P85 and early P89 magazines, all steel with the three round count holes in the back, are selling at a premium.

A P89 with a serial number below 304-00001, and without the ambidextrous decocking lever, feels like it ought to have been called a "P87".
