I am planning to pull my trusty gun out and take it to the shooting range soon to get some practice. Can anyone recommend any 15 or greater round magazines? I have seen factory Ruger and Mec-Gar, both have gotten good reviews, with the Mec-Gar offering more capacity options.

All the Mec Gars that I have have worked flawlessly. I can't say that about most of the bargain mags.

Mec-Gar made the original magazines for the original p series. They worked great. Have several 17 round mags for a P-85. They work fine and fit flush. In my opinion that 30 round mag you are looking at was probably for the PC 9. In a rifle like this, the high round mag would be great.

Thanks for the info guys. Off to find a Mec-Gar 17 rounder. I like the fact that it fits flush.
