Given that both pistols are high cap. mags, which one of these guns shoot better? Better meaning:accuracy, balance and overall handling. If you had to chose between the P89 or the P95, which would you go with and why??

I don't own a P89 but I do have 2 P95DC's and they have worked so great for me that I wouldn't trade them for any other 9mm, not even a P89.

Besides that, RNettles wouldn't speak to me again if I said anything bad about the P95:D

This seems familiar, but I will post here too. I have owned both, but currently now only the P89. My P95 was a good gun (with the exception of sometimes it would not hold the slide open after the last round fired). I just did not like the plastic frame. It would slide around in your hand when shooting. I put a Hand All grip sleeve on it, which helped alot but looked ugly (to me). So, I just kept the utterly reliable P89. Have shot thousands of rounds through it with zero problems. (I put Hougues on it too)

I chose the P89 over the P95 mostly because I wanted a traditional metal gun. I also like that I was able to remove the plastic grips and replace them with rubber Hogues. I'm very happy with my P89. It is totally reliable, accurate.

You will probably love either gun you choose. You may decide you need one of each.

I chose the P89 because I liked the all metal construction. My buddy has the P95 & it is just as good as my P89. It boils down to personal choice & either pistol is a good choice. Plus, like Wandering Man said, I was able to install the Houge mono-grip & made the gun fit my hand much better.;)

I had a couple P89s which I really liked, now I have a couple P95s which I like even more. For me, it is the rounded trigger on the P95 (and P345) that gives me a better reach for my hands. I always felt my P89 and P90s trigger was "too far away".

This is why I installed a P95 trigger in my P89 :D
