I had some night sights installed at store"gunsmith" downtown. I finally did a lil testing since i've had it back. Im hitting about 10" low from point blank range 3'-5' , I am shooting down at it. "safer" i cant get the windage dove tail to move, it looks like the setscrew has been heated on the new sights.(HAZ) Anouther issue could be that i did disassemble it for the first time myself before i tested.. A rule of mine I broke, never make 2 adjustments at the same time. is the barrel self ajusting to center? front sight is fixed, so is this a mistake the gunsmith made possibly? drilling the holes wrong? something Ive overlooked? thoughts or opinions please.

Take it back. He should have test fired it & assured it was on target.

Im pretty sure they didnt test it, or even bore scope it. I only payed them 30 bucks, but If it were me. I wouldnt want to put my name on ###ty work. Ill try that. The back sight is so tight in the dovetail, It wont even move. Broke it down Hit it with a rubber mallet on a urithaine pad, nothing

Thanks for the reply
