in this thread I read Atlantic arms stopped making the 357 sig barrel for the P944 due to "Here's my P944 with an Olympic Arms .357 conversion barrel. I also went with a heavier weight recoil spring set-up. Works just fine. 'Course you need the "old-style" swinging link P944 frame versus the new camblock design." by November supposedly after changing to teh camblock the barrel won't work in the new ones.
what does that mean and how do I tell which one I have?
thanks in advance,
Tim

The old-style barrel has a link on the bottom that swivels. The camblock style has no link - just a couple of cut-outs on the bottom of the barrel. Also, an even easier way to tell is to look at the left side of the gun. If there is a small black plastic square just behind the slide lock it is a cam block.
