I've noticed that the P95 doesn't have metal inserts in the frame on the rails (where the slide moves on). Don't see that too often among polymer semi-autos anymore (the HK USC is this way, if I remember correctly - but that is more of a rifle).

Anyone getting wear on the polymer after a few years?

The P-95 is built tough, it does seems those polymer rails would wear out, but it won't. I was curious about lubrication, the lady at Ruger told me to lightly grease the rails.

Grease or mobil one synthetic

A light coating of shooters choice (red) grease is all you need or a dab of Mobil-1 synthetic. (20w50)

Metal inserts on Rugers are not needed.
