Just got this back from having a multicam camo paint job. I could not resist posting it- especially for all the P97 Ruger owners that get ribbed about owning such an "ulgy" gun.

Now it is dead on accurate and unrecoverable when I drop it in the field.:D

What do you think? Camouflage may not be needed; but it gives the gun a more pleasing profile in my opinion.

First let me welcome you to the Board. If you get a chance go to the new member section in the Lobby and introduce yourself. That looks great and where did you get it done? I'm one of those P97 fans. I have one on now for my CCW. I think they are great guns. Jump right in and make yourself at home and enjoy the Board.

That looks tough. I've always liked the looks of Ruger semi-auto pistols, especially the full sized models. They're built like a tank and look it, too.

I'm also one of those P97 fans. That might be one of the most original looking P97s Ive ever seen. I also agree, Since they're built like tanks, they might as well look like one too. Great job. BTW, you should post those pics over on glocktalk.com to show them what a military pistol should look like.

I like the way that looks. It turned out great.
I read in the paper that Duracoat has new colors. The Bloomberg Collection. It is vivid red, blue, yellow, orane and green. They are named after the five burrows of New York since Mayor Bloomberg banned such paints in the city.
