There is what appears to be a pin on the left side of a P97. It's on the left side in the slide serrations and just in front of the decocker lever. It seems to be unique to the this model. What's it for?

Here is the IPB(Illustrated Parts Breakdown) of a P97DC...
1 is the Decocker Lever Spring Retainer and 2 is the Spring notch where 1 fits to hold the spring in the slide...

And by the way, my P95DPR has the same type of pin...

RNettles, you are the answer man! On this same topic, have you ever figured out why the right side decocker lever always has a little bit of a rattle? I have 4 different Ruger DC's and they all have that little bit of a rattle. It doesn't bother me one bit, I'm just curious.
