Just stopped in the pawn shop down the street from the casino and walked out with this EC9s that has no indication that it was ever fired. No box, no papers, and only one magazine (as expected), but I paid $175.00 plus tax and got a box of 9mm ball for free.

How did I do?

I thought so. I normally carry a S&W Model 469 but wanted something a little lower profile. It fits in the same holster, too!

Not a bad price for the gun plus a box of ammo.

I picked up mine new for $260. Total out the door at the local Sportsman's Warehouse.
No B/G check fee due to already having a CCW permit.

They only come with one mag when new. I picked up a spare 9 round mag.

Since we have both the EC and LC9s models we have 3 mags between the 2 guns that interchange.

Went to pick up an EC9s at the lgs, as I was about to check out the wife says she wants one. They were selling for $239, so we ended up buying two. We went back a couple of days later to use the free range passes that came with the purchases and they were having a Father’s Day sale, same guns for $209. They let us bring our receipts and they gave us $60 back on the two. I then bought my daughter her first gun that day too! Just couldn’t pass up brand new Ruger EC9s’s for $209 each. They are great shooters too!

I picked mine up at the local Bass Pro Shop for 219 , I 've seen them at Rural king for 199 but I don't have one close that's on my side of the state border so...
I've only been to the range one time with my EC9S so far, however it ate up 100 rounds of Magtech 115 grain without a hiccup.
Pocket carry with a Remora holster has been excellent too.
Literally as easy as carrying a cell phone.

I like the EC9s and the LC9s. They are comfortable and reliable shooters and at prices around $200 with Ruger CS, darned good buys.

Can't spend 5-6 hours a day driving back and forth. I'm lucky to pass by when it's open.

I saw a pawn shop on our drive to a state park today, and my wife said, "Don't even think about it." Looks like I'll need to wait until she has "lunch with the ladies," again.

Have never done any business with a pawn shop. I assume, if they deal in arms, ammo, etc., they must be a licensed FFL dealer??

Yes. Most pawn shops have FFLs or they don't last long. Guns are the highest value items most folks are willing to pawn thinking that they will go back after them. If they don't, someone, like me, gets a good deal.

Yes, most pawn brokers are also gun dealers. All of the ones around me also carry a few new guns too.
