Picked up a blued 7.5" old army and have a couple questions.
1. Is the loading lever lug on the bottom of the barrel soldered on?
2. Who makes a shoulder holster for this monster?

Uncle Mikes for a vertical nylon. Not sure about Bianchi. No longer have my Rugers to tell about the lug. I use this #4 for my Ruger 30 carbine.

I have an older blued ROA, and it appears to me that both the front sight and loading lever lug are silver brazed on.

For ROA holsters, I have used leather ones for the longer barreled Blackhawk pistols. A little bit of wet molding helped fit the longer frame to the holster.

Yes you can get conversion kits to shoot .45colt loads in your ROA the bore diameter is actually .452" which is the same as the .45 Colt I would look for a Kirst conversion kit however they are not cheep around $330 if I recall.
