I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what revolvers were issued to police departments in the south between 1932 and 1934. I'm asking for a friend who is curious. I don't know why, but told her I'd ask you all. :)

I know there were probably many.

The most popular were the S&W M&P revolver chambered in 38 Special. It is known as a Model 10 today. There were also a good many Colt Official Police, and Colt Police Positive. It was not unusual to see local PDs carry single action revolvers too. The Colt SAA was the most popular.
