Hi gang, new to the forums.

I have a Ruger 10/22 tactical with the flash hider and ATI side-folding stock that I want to set up for Appleseed matches. I plan on using Tech-sights. The rear is apparently no problem(fits in the scope-mount holes), but what to do about the front sight, since I just have the flash hider but no front sight band?
Do I need to change the barrel, or can I get the front sight band and put it on myself or do I need to have a gun smith do it?
Any help would be appreciated.

For the front sight you will want a Nodak NDS-44 front sight. It is designed specifically for the Tactical model. Here: NoDak Spud NDS-22 receivers. Scroll down, it's near the bottom of the page.

Whether you get a TS rear or a Nodak rear is up to you. Both are excellent.
