Just made the purchase & didn't have scope rings in the box... assuming I just need to register rifle with Ruger & request them to be mailed?

Should have a lock, scope rings, picitanny rail, 2 mags and paperwork. I'd call Ruger and see what they say. The enclosed rings should be the tall. I exchanged mine with Ruger for the mediums.

Yep! If it's factory new it should have all that. If the OP bought it used then all bets are off but I wouldn't be surprised if Ruger hooks him up.

Was purchased new... I'll look again, in case I missed them & call Ruger

If your Ruger is the Ranch Rifle then yes a set of Ruger Rings I wasn't aware of the picatinny rail but I haven't bought a new Mini-14 either. If no rings yes call Ruger!

You don't need to register anything with Ruger. Call them up, tell them you bought it and they were missing, they'll send them out.
