If you wanted a Great Long Sight Radius Iron sights with a full receiver Rail for mounting a Scope, Red Dot

If you have the Tech Sight TSR200 Already.

Or if you wanted a Tech Sight Rear Peep sight mounted to a Rail.

Here is what i have, I talked to Erik at Tech Sights and asked him about a Rail Mount Rear sight.

Erik said that the #TSM200(Marlin 795/60 Sight) Rear Sight Works well with the TSR200(10/22 Ruger Tech Sight) Front Sight

Tech Sight for now does not list them on their site, as a sight set, but offer them separate, as most people do not know that they can be used together on the 10/22.

I have this setup and it works well, i also have the Williams Ace in the Hole both are good.

The Tech sights appear more durable but time will tell.

I have not had the typical complaint that hardware loosens up on the Williams Sights,

But i degrease & Blue loc-Tite all my guns hardware before my first range visit

Nice find...

Higher than I would like for me but on the other hand it does solve other problems...

What is your front post height relative to the center of the bore with that rear tech sight...

I do plan to get their SKS TS200...someday...

Hey ZommyGun,

Not sure what that measurement is, it is the same height as the stock TSR200 rear sight, but as far as a measurement goes i have not measured it.

I use the standard weaver T09 rail, But i am looking for a longer rail, around 6"-7" long, this will provide rail about 1" past the front of the receiver, instead of the standard Ruger 4.5" long rail.

This will allow me more scope options & rail space

Okay...in order to use the Tech Sight rear peep sight you must have a front post...

It sticks up on the end of the barrel...it gets height adjusted to match up with the rear post...

If that post was too short...or too long...you would not be able to adjust the elevation enough in the rear to sight in the gun...

The center of the bore means the middle of the hole in the barrel...

To measure the height of the front post relative to the center of the bore take a caliper or ruler and measure the distance from the top of the post to the middle of the hole in the barrel...

Could not be any easier...takes only a few seconds...

I am guessing from looking at the pics of the Marline with tech sights that your front post will need to be at least 1.25" and maybe as high as 1.5" above the center of the bore...

The one in the pics is at 1" (fixed by design) above the center of the bore which is spot on for the WGRS-54 peep sight shown set in the middle of it's elevation range and set for high velocity ammo at 50 yards...it has enough adjustment range to cover variations of range from 10 yards to 200 yards with high velocity ammo...

I am considering getting a Marlin TS200 for my 10/22 but if I do I will be using one my custom front sights not theirs...

I need to know what the height above the bore is in order to determine if the TS200 will have an eye level adjustable to where I want it...

If I know the front post height...the rest is relatively easy for me as I have done this a bunch of times now...

Please go measure it... :D:D:D

Thanks,
ZG
