Finding good batteries that work in all weather is part of the "fun" of year round outdoor shooting in NE Ohio. Getting pelted with battery covers just ads to the overall joy..... :ROFLMAO:
thanks ... I guess ... :p:p:p:p:p

This is why I always take at least 2 toys to my pay range dates. If you take two, they both will run.
I generally always always do. Today was the exception to the rule. I wasn't sure how easy or hard it was going to be to zero in ... needless to say it was pretty spot on thanks to the bore sighting done over the weekend ...

The only brand i could find was Durracell Lithium ...
I avoid Duracell batteries in the AA and AAA category because of leaks. I've had a number of pieces of equipment ruined by leaking Duracells.

You should probably be OK with the Duracell coin style battery. Might want to monitor.

A big DITTO.

I have several pieces of expensive testing equipment at work. I have “no Duracell” labeled on all of them. We stock Energizers at work.

I was over the GF's house on Sunday. She was working on her digital camera with some white vinegar and a Q Tip. I took note and muttered only one word. Duracell????

She said yes. The camera was toast.

Change it every 4 mos. You will be fine
No scientific datat to back up my claim but I think the coin style batteries are a different animal. I've had the 2032 battery in the alarm fob of the Harley since 2005. I probably should change it out before I get stuck.

Think the lithium design is the determining factor. If lithium leaks, it catches fire, unlike acid batteries. Think it reacts with air.

Duracells work great if they're being used, but if they sit for any amount of time, they'll wreck whatever they're in.

I read the thread on the mount...Sorry you had issues.
