I am thinking about putting a Red Dot on my New Mark III. Which one do you use? Do I REALLY need one?

Thanks in Advance!

I only like Red-Dots on shotguns and CAR-15's. For a pistol I think lasers are better.

I have a cheap Bushnell from Midway on mine and it's great! It has 4 different reticles in it including both a large and small dot. If you get one, get a small dot so it won't obscure your target at extended ranges.

I have a Millet Red Dot on my MK III. I started with a BSA but it broke after only a few rounds. In general, Red Dots are a good investment and will enhance an already accurate MK pistol.

I asked a similar question down a couple of threads. Folks here were very helpful. I now have the Millet SP-1 ...on my MKIII and MKII.

Caution:
Prices really vary on this particular red dot from vendor to vendor so do your homework. As much as $50.00 or 50% difference for the identical product.
