i am looking for a extra set of barrels for my 1996 12 gage red label. i have 26" barrels now . I called ruger and they said that they could not sell me them but could replace my 26" set if they have a problem and they have both set in stock today but could not give a price to me on what they cost.
Does anyone know where a set in 30" could be had?I am not asking for too much am i? This is going to be a christmas gift to my son and i didn't know that it would be this hard to do.

They list in there parts book at $500. I would bet they will be hard to find. Good luck...

i believe youll find that the bbl set isnt just a drop in option. it must be smithed to fit. thats why they most liklely arent selling you one. they dont want to be responsible for some kitchen table smith putting it on and expecting ruger to cover it for life.
