Do you think it is necessary to bore sight when replacing just a pinned front sight on a .357mag sp101?

We did mine with a big dot night sight and just was a breeze.

I was wondering if I need to have the sight bore sighted in.
It seems like it shouldn't be needed since it can only go in one way.
