:cool:OK

Test question, let's see if anyone can get this one...

Ruger Blackhawk .357 cylinder
How can you determine the difference between the two cylinders, a old model and a new model.

First one:

Second one:

 I'm trying to find a old cylinder for my build and I need to look at what is different between the two so I don't get screwed over by buying the wrong one.

I've studied the two and I can't figure out the difference.

Hondo44 published some dimensions here somewhere - on the Single-Action forum, I think. As I learned the hard way - the .357 cylinders for New Model and "old" model are different sizes. The new .357 cylinders are smaller diameter than the older ones. The older model cylinders won't even fit into the window of the New Vaquero - as i unsuccessfully tried to do ... :(

This has nothing to do with magazines, it's about the grip frame, eBay Nazi's called me. Never try to explain to a idiot, it makes you more flustered.

Good news is that I wasn't talking to someone in India, that would have not gone well. Still the people who work for eBay are idiots.
