Does anyone here have John Dougan's book, RUGER PISTOLS AND REVOLVERS: THE VINTAGE YEARS 1949-1973?

I need help verifying a serial number for a brass framed 45 Blackhawk. Please let me know if you can help!!

I think if, in fact, you're looking for a book it would help if your title mentioned that. Just sayin'.

I don't have a reference with specific serial numbers but my Guide to Ruger Single Action Revolvers Production Dates 1953-1973 by John C. Dougan indicates that in 1972 there were 405 BKH44B and 190 BKH45B factory installed brass grip framed Blackhawks produced between serial numbers 45-13700 and 45-21210.

Hopefully that will narrow down your search.
