Hey guys, five weeks ago my new Wrangler arrived, same day on the range I noticed keyholing and mailed revolver back to Ruger, well today they called me and said that technician deemed that revolver unrepairable and offered me to get same one or add $ (distributors price) and get any other firearms from Ruger except for dealer exclusive models.

My question what would you get?

Any single action revolver in any caliber would do the trick
I like at least 3 revolvers but they all dealer exclusive unfortunately.

Welcome aboard! I would still recommend a Wrangler. Your defective one is a rare thing & they are decent revolvers.

If distributor's/invoice price is low enough to suit your budget, I'd tell you to upgrade to a Single Six which will last a lifetime.

I do have single six bisley to that reason Wrangler felt cheap and actually I'm happy that it sort of totaled.

Blackhawk Convertible 357/9mm
New Vaquero 45lc

I sort of like 0662 it's .22 convertible version of super blackhawk hunter maybe I should get that one.

My vote goes to a single six convertible blued model, if you're sticking to a 22 LR ... if you want to upgrade to centerfire I'd go blued GP100 4 5/8 barrel chambered in 357 or 44
