I would say, not normal. Where is the bluing rubbing off? Can you see where its touching something to cause the wear? Are you talking about the very tip, where it contacts the front latch that holds it in place? Can you post a picture so we can see? WELCOME.

Thanks or the reply guys. I will try to post a picture when I get a chance. The wear is on the actual rod itself running parallel up and down the rod. It's almost from pushing it in multiple times to eject stuck rounds from the cylinder.
STUCK rounds, or fired rounds? I have roughly 300 .357 rounds, and countless .38 rounds thru my KLCR and have never had STUCK rounds. If you have STUCK rounds then there is a problem. I looked at my 2 LCRs and see no wear on either rod. I have thousands of rounds thru my LCR-22 and it looks new.
Is the rod on your LCR easy to push when the cylinder is empty? Is the wear cause by something inside the channel dragging on the rod, and causing the feeling of STUCK rounds? Maybe a burr? Is the wear one scratch, or all around the circumference of the rod? Here is a pic of my KLCR and no wear.
