My son traded his Chiappa 1911-22 toward a Ruger MkIII Target Pistol with the Bull Barrel on it. I can't say anyone here will miss the Chiappa. The MkIII is a GREAT target and plinking gun! Fun to no end. Accurate, easy to feed and a T-Total BEAR to reassemble. We took it apart for an initial cleaning and to remove some factory grease from it and I thought we were going to have to get the tooth fairy to crawl inside and move the parts around so we could reassemble it. I'll have to say it isn't as bad once you've done it a few times but I can certainly understand the frustration some have expressed on the forum about reassembly.

Yep, it works very very well. Getting over how heavy it is was my biggest concern, but really it's not bad and talk about no recoil!

Looks like you have a keeper their. Jealous of the range area and all thos steel plates. Wow.
