Hello Everybody, I'm New To the forum. I Hope somebody can help me. Yesterday I Bought a Mini 14 With Folding Stock,Bayonet lug and Flash Hider a pears Never been Fired.The Receiver has G.S.P stamped. Serial number 182xxx. Anybody Know what G.S.P standFor?

Caesar2k, Back during the Assault Rifle Ban, Ruger produced Mini-14s for law enforcement, government agencies, and prisons. These were known as "GB" (Government Ban) models and had a flash suppressor, bayonet lug, and some had folding stocks .... all the things deemed "illegal" for a privately owned Mini-14.

Most agencies marked their gun in some manner ... like your G.S.P. marked Mini. I would take a wild guess .... Georgia State Prison, but it could easily be something else. BTW Mini-14GBs have a notable collector value ... almost double the value of a normal Mini-14 in the same condition.
