Looking at the pictures I note that they're all adjustable sight guns. I would have thought that there would be some inclined towards having fixed sights being a little more authentic... Are the fixed sight revolvers any good? I think I would like a fixed sight BP revolver. My only limited experience has been with a .36 Colt Navy replica.

Later in production, Ruger did make Old Army revolvers with fixed sights. Ruger Old Armies kind of resemble a 1858 Remington, however they are way more massive. Point being, Old Armies are not a replica of any specific gun so I guess they can have any configuration the Ruger wants. Unfortunately, they are no longer in production. The "black powder craze" must have died out.
