I have an integrally suppressed barrel on order for my 10/22 Takedown. As it will not have sights, I was thinking of putting a scope mount directly on the barrel. This would also help w/ accuracy, I would think, since it would always have the same connection to the bbl, not the action. Any suggestions? I figure the two ways to do it would be either to weld it on or (more likely) drill & tap the bbl.
Thank,

I'd use the action mount provided as extended eye relief scopes often have trouble with parallax - but its your choice :)

Just because you have a can on it, doesn't mean it should react any differently than other take down models. Nobody seems to be complaining of shifting zeroes.
