I've recently been given a sample of a new gun care product called Seal 1, CLP Plus. It's a nontoxic lube that smells kind of like orange sherbet. I haven't had a chance to try it yet and wonder if anyone has...I'd be interested in getting your take on it if you have...

When I was given the sample I was told that if applied and then heated with a hair dryer it bonds with the surface of the metal creating a barrier to corrosion. I assume thats the case with most CLP's. I'm not familiar with frog lube, so I don't know if it shares the same properties.

Seems there is a lot of new nontoxic products being introduced for gun care and maintenence. I remember doing annual firearms service inspections and sweating breakfree for days afterwards...would have been nice to have done that with a non toxic product.
