Felt bad for the guy, but had to chuckle. :p

Was leaving the local big box home supply store this afternoon and saw a big pickup pulling out of the loading area with a nice stainless gas grill behind the cab.

The side exit of the place is up hill to a stop sign. Yup it wasn't tied down. When he went to start out it slid to the back. Center of gravity is above the the tailgate so it it just keeps going. Landed lid first and just missed car behind him.

Look on his face when he walked around the truck was priceless. A couple of us helped him lay the remains in the bed of the pickup.

No Barbecue for You!:D

I have a friend who thinks that anything you put in the back of a pickup will stay there no matter what. He thinks I am stupid for having a whole tool box full of straps in my truck. To me, it is like carrying a gun. I would rather strap it down and not need it than need a strap and not have one!

What he said. Betcha he's a believer in tiedowns and straps now.
