My almost 14 year old grand daughter is missing from her home in Hollister, CA. She went to the store yesterday afternoon with a friend and hasn’t been heard from since.

As of this writing, it is 6:30 AM Monday morning in CA so she has been gone overnight but there is no evidence to indicate abduction, so the police are treating it as a runaway. We are praying that it is something as simple as being afraid to go home because of the expected consequences.

I would appreciate any prayers, positive thoughts, or upwardly directed positive energy that she is safe.

Here is a recent picture and I am sorry for the poor quality. I had the camera on the wrong lens, plus my monitor is always dark so I can’t tell if it is light enough to make out detail.

I too hope she is just a runaway. That's pretty common at her age. My prayers are with her and your family for a quick and safe return.

I have good news to report!

She was returned home late yesterday afternoon CA time after spending the night in a nearby town with persons unknown at this point. We don’t have many details yet other than she is safe and well and has been taken to the local hospital for examinations and the rape test procedure. She will also be staying at the hospital because, on top of everything else, she is sick and is scheduled to have gall bladder surgery this morning (Tuesday). At least I think they are still going to go through with it.

I want to thank each of you for your support. I personally believe in the power of prayer and I am sure that the many prayers that were offered made the difference between a safe return and an unhappy ending. The whole episode only took about 26-27 hours, but that is still enough time for any number of horrible things to occur.

Once again, I want to thank you all for your support and allowing me to share this personal tragedy with you.

Thank You!
