I never get tired of looking at nice S&Ws. So, whats the bottom one? Looks like a .44, but I can't be sure.

I look for nice condition used smiths at decent prices (which are getting harder to find, especially here in Kalifornia)
I like the pinned and recessed models

Thanks for the compliments

this security six I just ran across has me looking for another one already, like a four inch in stainless model

Nice collection!

There's *always* room for a K-frame S&W in .38spl. That's the SWeet spot.
I too have a Model 14-3 (pinned, not recessed for those keeping score) and it's my hand-laser. I need new handloads, tho, as I'm having awful chamber leading problems.

the .38 k frames were pinned, not recessed
the .357 magnum k frames were pinned and recessed

I use hard cast 148 grain wad cutters over 2.8 grains of bullseye
the hard cast bulletts don't lead as bad

Thanks
