Just curious. Ruger, at least currently, offers the blued .22 single-six in 4 5/8 and 5 1/2, but offers the stainless beginning at only 5 1/2. Why? Would guess demand, but would think there would be demand for the 4 5/8 in stainless, too.
I guess because they know lots of us would stick one in our back pocket and walk our woods with it, and lots of us would keep one in the glovebox of the car, and lots of us would keep one in our lunch bucket, and lots of us......don't get listened to. I have owned a blued 4 5/8" and would love a stainless-don't care about the .22 Mag. cylinder-just a good short .22--bet they'd sell a hundred thousand the first year.
