I just bought a 10/22 takedown with a synthetic camo stock. how does someone install sling swivels in the stock?

You can buy a barrel band that accommodates a sling on the muzzle-end. For either end, you can buy swivels that screw into the stock (i.e. Uncle Mike's). You just need to drill a guide hole and then screw them in. And then voila! You can enjoy slinging your rifle.

They make a threaded one that uses a nut inside the stock. My dad used on on his and it worked good. Beware though that the plastic is very thin is the forearm area. Truthfully I'd look for a different stock.

Here is the one I believe my dadgot
