soon to be SR9c owner

Welcome! You will love the SR9c. I got mine this summer & really enjoy shooting it. Here are a couple suggestions:
1. Watch the videos on Ruger's website. I would do a complete cleaning prior to 1st. use, including the striker. Pay particular attention to the re-assembly & moving the trigger forward in the video, I know from experience.
2. Shoot it, you will love that trigger!

Awesome shooter. I have had mine for 3 weeks or so now. Did have 2 out of 70 shots that never fired so I would take moakes58 advice and clean the striker. Yes, there are some that state they never have issues but it is good to get familiar with it!

Thanks everyone! I can't wait to put some rounds down range. I've only fired a handgun once since I got out of the military almost 10 years ago. I do own a 12 ga shotgun and .22 rifle so I'm not totally out of the game.

Been waiting for just over 2 weeks now for the SR9c to come in. Seems like everyone is out of stock and it's hard to get right now. I live in Maryland so once it does come in I have to wait at least another 7 days for backround check.
