Here’s a pretty cool view out my deer blind from yesterday. 5 Whitetail does right at 325 yards from me. If a big buck would of stepped out I would of taken the shot.

First photo is from yesterday looking through my binoculars and second photo is from last weekend with out binoculars.

I also saw an armadillo when walking out of the woods last week. Thought about popping it, but decided not to.
The noisy ones around the stands are in danger around the end of the hunt. The yard around camp has divots in the grass everywhere. Our area of S. Georgia is overrun with them.

My shot this year was 15 yards tops and last year about 20 both with a muzzleloader. We like to get to know them a little.
I had a young doe within ten yards of my stand many times last week. It can be difficult watching the bigger deer without spooking the little one up close. At one point she was 12 feet away and I was only 8 feet off the ground. Nothing ever smelled me.
