Hi all,

I've been reading a lot of useful info here on the SP101 (crocked barrel, etc)

Please don't aske me what a "crocked barrel" is. My only guess is that it's time it left the bar and went home!

"crocked" = crooked

 

The SP-101 design for the ejector is totally different than a S&W, Colt, or any other brand. Though a little wobble is normal, the ejector is made very strong and is quite functional. Not to worry .... just another Ruger quirk.

Not to worry, we all knew what you meant, and to be truthful, everyone here is guilty of engaging fingers before brain is in gear. I think I meant that the other way around......Now I’m confused......see what mean?

As Iowegan has said, this is normal with the SP 101. As a matter of fact, it is one of the rattles one gets when shaking the gun in various configurations.

Thanks Chris! I am enjoying this forum a lot. Even though I've done a lot of hunting in my day and feel comfortable with firearms, you can never learn enough that's new.
