Hi All,
I have a SP101 that I bought new about 2 years ago. It only has about 500 rounds through it, around half were 38 specials and half 357 magnums. I started reading a bit more about revolvers and read about end shake so I took out my feeler gauges and did some measuring. The B/C for my SP101 ranged from .003" to .008" giving it end shake of .005".
From what I've read this is the maximum for a SP101 and seems quite a bit for a fairly new and lightly used SP101. Is this cause for concern or is it actually normal for a Ruger SP101? Thanks for any info.

No need for concern. Keep shooting it and if in the unlikely event the SP-101 has a problem, contact Ruger.
