I had been considering a pair of the Diamond Pro's but now I have to reconsider. I can't believe Pachmayr would sell a grip so short on the right side that it allows the pivot pin to escape. I have a 4" model and it's tough finding grips that weren't intended to be used on a snubby.
I just went back and I can see now in the pic that the diamond Pro's do cover the pin enough that it shouldn't back out. is it just super soft rubber? Why is it backing out.
I put a sliver of gorilla tape across pivot pin low where it hides under grip when I have the Diamond Pros on. If you are OK with the finger groove Hogue monogrip, it is stiff and holds the pin from moving. It's longer than the Diamond Pro(as can be seen in my earlier post) so may work better for your 4" SP.
So I purchased a .327 Fed Mag Ruger Single Seven, and am looking for a way to carry a few extra rounds conveniently. I'm looking for something similar to the MTM case gard ammo wallet (I have one in .357 and another for my .45 colt, extremely handy for carrying a dozen extra rounds when...
Any eagle-eye out there who can ID this unmarked mag? Nothing stamped on the body of the mag, and nothing stamped on the baseplate either. Likely produced by a 3rd-party like Pro-Mag, but as for the gun it fits, I'm stumped!
Thanks for any help.
