Hi Guys, I'm new Guy from the SW of Oklahoma and I have a problem on my GP. It has small black spots on the outside of the barrel. I can't seem to remove them with the regular cleaning material. A Few days back I saw a post about someone who bought something from an auto store that removed the spots without any signs of them being their. I've checked the old post and can't find that post. Does anyone remember what the person bought and how he used it? I love my GP100 and use both .38 Spc and .357 in it. It is the most accurate weapon I've used.

Any help on the spots would be appreciated.

Happy days and lots of turkey sandwichs.

The red Scotchbrite pads usually match the Ruger "brushed" finish on stainless steel. Rub lightly in the original direction.
