Hi all;
I fired 20 rounds of PriviPartizan .308 Win 150gr, FMJ last week, and when I examined the brass, all the primers were flattened.
This indicated excess pressure, that could be from several causes. Excess headspace is one possible culprit.

If the chamber is reamed to 7.62 NATO and headspaced to 1.6344 or NATO max1.6455 then this could be the problem as the commercial brass is no-go at 1.634, and is stretching and setting back against the bolt face and flattening the primer.

I haven't had a chance to try some Lake City 147gr FMJ, but I'll try next week to see if it has the same problem.
If so the it will go back to Ruger for correction.
