I've got the Star Firestar in .45, found it to be exceptionally accurate, and very attractive to boot, in it's brushed nickel finish. I've had mine for about 25 years or so, and I bought it brand spanking new. Never had a problem with it, and the trigger is exceptionally smooth. I'm sure your 9mm will make a great home defense weapon as well. Granted they are a bit heavy as they are all steel, but to be perfectly honest with you I prefer the all steel firearms myself. Sorry for sure, that the company went out of business, however Numerich has all the parts you would need if the problem arises, but I sincerely doubt it. Very nice gun and very attractive grips.
