I have a ruger NM blackhawk that has a cylinder that won't move. The hammer won't move all the way down to rotate the cylinder and it looks like the paw isn't coming out to move the cylinder. It isn't locked btw, I just checked, I've never locked it before but tried anyways to make sure.

When the cylinder is not in the revolver I am able to move the hammer down freely.

Push the base pin in until it latches and it should then work OK.

The base pin is in.

I am unable to pull the hammer completely down when the cylinder is in the revolver. I am able to move the hammer down without the cylinder in the revolver.
